Our Financial Journey

From a small Tasmanian startup to Australia's trusted financial forecasting platform - discover how we've grown alongside our community since 2019

The Beginning in Battery Point

Started in a converted warehouse space in Battery Point, Tasmania, seranoviluthe began when three financial analysts noticed how many small businesses struggled with accurate forecasting. We'd seen too many promising ventures fail simply because they couldn't predict cash flow patterns or plan for seasonal variations.

Our first client was actually the local bakery downstairs - they needed help understanding why their profits fluctuated so dramatically between tourist seasons.

Platform Evolution

The pandemic taught everyone about uncertainty, but it also highlighted how crucial proper financial planning really is. We completely rebuilt our forecasting engine to handle volatile market conditions and developed new scenario planning tools that helped businesses prepare for multiple possible futures.

By year-end, we were serving over 2,800 businesses across Australia, from corner shops in Alice Springs to manufacturing companies in Melbourne.

Educational Expansion

This year marks our shift toward comprehensive financial education. We realized that providing tools wasn't enough - people needed to understand the underlying principles. Our new learning platform launches in September 2025, offering practical courses on budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making.

Real education takes time. Our comprehensive programs run 6-12 months, giving students space to practice concepts and build genuine expertise.

Looking Toward 2026

Financial literacy shouldn't be a luxury. We're building resources that make sophisticated forecasting and budgeting accessible to anyone willing to learn. Our focus remains on practical education - teaching real skills that people can apply immediately to their personal or business finances.

Next year, we're expanding our course offerings and developing specialized programs for different industries. Because a restaurant's cash flow challenges are quite different from a consulting firm's, and our education should reflect that reality.
